Hey guys

I am in need of an AC unit for my trans am....I know that any pontiac trans am from 71-81 should work, I just want to know tha name make and model of the ac unti, and which other cars came with that model of ac unti so I can look for it at my salvage yard

which part are you talking about ? its a gm part, but i think harris is the one who manufactured it....

I believe it's the evaporator that's a Harrison. The compressor may by AC Delco or Frigid-aire. Any of the old big, long compressors will work. They're called GM A-6 compressors. You'd want to get one that has a pulley the same size as your old one to make it easier.
