« on: August 13, 2014, 10:41:37 PM »
Hello, my name is jason and im new to the trans am world. Im wanting to rebuild my 403 olds and im looking for some early 1970's olds 350 heads. If anyone knows a good contact please let me know. Also was wondering if 1972 buick 350 heads could be used on the 403?

The Buick heads will not work ;) There should be some olds guys on here to help with the 350 heads.

Hey Jason , I just saw (2) Olds 350's with the heads you're looking for on Akron/Canton craigslist today.. Both are 3-$500 range OBO. By the way , save yourself valve train hassles & get the Comp Cams adj rocker kit , you'll be glad you did. Good luck!

The 5's or 6's are good , I'm not sure if it was the 7's or 8's that were crappy. 455 heads can be fit on that 403 as well , just have your machinist open up the head bolt holes for the larger 403 head bolts. Figured I'd throw that in there as an option.
