i did this today for my fiero, but i am sure it would work on ta's or other cars.
i was in the process of installing a replacement tach for my 88gt and cracked my dash lens while removing it. never took a fiero dash apart and was surprised by how much needed to be removed to replace the tach. when i got it all apart i realized the dash lens should have been taken off at the end, not forced out at the beginning.
i went to lowes and got two pieces of 8x10 plexiglass and used my dash lens as a template to trace the cuts. used a dremel with grinder wheel to cut the glass and it worked well. cleaned the plexiglass up and hot glued it to the back of the dot matrix bezel and re installed. very pleased with how it turned out, since my original one had scratches on it and looked worn. needed a 8"x16" piece but the 8x10 was pre cut at $1.98 each. so for less than 4 bucks it was repaired and looks new.
