They would be a grey phosphate...hard to tell from pix but those might be a shade lighter. They do look good to me though

They look great!  But one of the springs looks stretched a little.

The Hinges should be Dark Grey Zinc Phosphate. Same as the hood latch, and most of the underhood fastners.  If you don't want to plate them this Eastwood paint is a Very Good second  choice.  The color is a very dark grey to black with a very slight metal flake effect.

If you want to plate them so they truly are correct this is the guy.

Norwood is correct with the Eastwood zinc phosphate Grey. That is what I use on all my hinges. I even match one up to a nos hood hinges right on the money couldn't tell which one was which.

ya thanks , I've been doing some Googling on the color.
I'm going to just have them and the hood latch plated.

I like the thread you did norwood, but the price... I can get it done by my chromer for about 40-50 bucks and the hinges 80ish.

Thanks 4SPEED,  I have done over 100 latches in the last few years and have gotten much better at the disassembly.  This has cut the time needed by a whole lot.   Thus cutting the price of the restoration by alot.  The cost is now 130.00 for youyr provided latch or 160.00 if bought outright.....
