Floppy sunvisors
« on: December 02, 2010, 11:19:50 PM »
Just installed a new set of sunvisors on my TATA from fbody warehouse. I am getting tired of them flopping down all the time!!! Is this common and i should deal with it? Is there something to put on that shaft that slides into the visor? Tightening screw dont do the trick. Or am i not doing someting right?
Thanks

There should be a plastic bushing inside the hole in visor that makes a snug fit

Pete, just to clarify, i was in no way no way knocking F-Body warehouse. Just stating where i got them. You guys are 100% and i  just bought some new seatbacks from you. i just thought someone may have a trick like wrapping the rod with electrical tape to tighten up.

Mine starting to do the same. I noticed the plastic inside was busted up and not sure if they are available so I put a shim in and so far it hasn't fallen.

The bushings were available NOS GM (till about 1 year ago when we bought up all of the remaining inventory LOL they are now sitting in Fbodywarehouse client cars.

They were a small black bushing that popped in replacing the factory bushing.

Sorry guys, LOL we sold them all to you all so ya can't hate us too much HA HA!
