Trans Am 403 Shaker Base and Plastic Intake Tubing
« on: February 25, 2010, 04:09:59 AM »
Ordered a "1980 301 Shaker Base in excellent shape" from a guy for $80, but when it got to me, it was a Olds 403 Shaker base in okay shape. Because I have a 301, it is of no use to me. So I put it on here for sale. It has a little rust on the intake neck, and a few holes there, as pictured. Comes with the retaining ring, and the plastic pieces, which are in great shape just a little dirty. The lid I cleaned really well, sanded the surface rust off, soaked with naval jelly, washed and painted. The underside of the lid is fine, I scrubbed it the best I could but the grease is really tough and I ran out of sandpaper. I didn't paint the underside, as I have reservations against painting over dirt lol.

Make me an offer on it, I just want to get some of that $80 dollars back. Even if it is just a fraction. Any offer will be appreciated, so don't worry about offending me with a "low" offer. Like I said, its of no use to me.

Item is in Ft. Worth, TX. 76115

Thanks and God Bless!

Oh and I get a pretty good employee discount with FedEx. So shipping should be pretty cheap.
