« on: March 11, 2007, 12:10:02 AM »
Not to sound dumb, but how do I post pics in the forum and on my profile for my signature?

Do you already have your pictures uploaded to something like photobuckets. If not go to photobuckets and register, it's free, and then upload your photo that you want to post on the forum and in your signature. Let us know when that is done and we'll help you get em' on here. You'll be posting like a pro in no time.

How did you do it? When I try to put one in, it tells me there are too many characters in my signature.

The signature line is limited to 255 characters, so that is why when you put it in, it tells you that.

OK -- so what you have to do now is go to photobucket and click on the thumbnail you want to post to get the full-size pic.  On the page with the full-size pic you will find a link used for posting to message boards and forums.  It is a IMG link.  Copy that entire line, and come back here to 78TA.com and then paste it into the window you type your post into.  That should link that pic to your message.  Raise you hand if you have any problems and we'll help you figure it out. :) :)

Ok I am having a problem seeing all of some pictures.  The right side sometimes seems incomplete, all of the text is there but others talk about things I am not seeing on the picture. What do I need to do?

Buy glasses :D
Sorry, just kidding. Are you scrolling to the right all the way; maybe the pic is too big for your screen...

The screen won't scroll to the left or right. All of the text is on the screen but pictures are getting the right side cut off. BTW I am using a 21" screen so it should fit.

Man, wish I had a 21" screen, nice! Maybe it's your resolution?? Now that I think about it, I've had the same issue a couple times

Screen size has nothing to do with it.  I could have a 14" monitor and a 22" monitor and if they are both set at 640x480 then you see the exact same picture on the screen on both.  So, it is all about resolution.  Actually from what you are describing, it sounds like some setting either on your monitor or your PC.  Is it just like that on the forum?
