Steve here 79 10th Anniversary 400 4spd.  My dads best friend left the dealership in 79 with an automatic 403 TATA drove to our house to show off.  At the time I was 13 and it was love at first sight.  Here I am got my own after waiting 40 years.  She's an ok driver with some typical neglect that I'm sorting out.  Look forward to learning, helping where I can.  Hailing from San Antonio TX area.

Nice T/A. Not too many people on this site anymore though. You might want to check out transamcountry.com or py online forums (performance years sponsored by Ames). More going on at those sites. THere used to be more activity here.  Good luck with your tata.

Thanks, that's a rather nice TA in your profile pic.  I'm a member of some other going going almost gone forums already so no real surprise I guess.  No facebook or anything like that but I do tapatalk.  Appreciate the welcome.

I'm just getting back into this.
I own 2 455SD Trans Am, a 1973 and a 1974.
The 73 started life as a Y code car, I've been collecting SD parts over the last 30 years.
I've finally pulled the trigger on getting the 73 restored.
The engine by Paul Spotts
The car by Wetdreams Restorations,
Wish me luck!

Hi shickle55, Any good body shop should be able to mix the color you want either in a can or a spray can.

You worked for HO Racing?!?!?!? The TurboForce people? Did you still have any old HO gear? Has there been any developments with the TurboFORCE Revival project?

Hey all, I'm Brian. I'm a lifelong motorhead, and I've been wrenching on my own stuff for about 40 years now. I don't know everything, but I've learned a lot along the way, lol. I'm currently in northeast Indiana.
Thanks for having me.
