I looked at a really nice 77 trans Am today. The only this is it had Fisher T-Tops.

That would be the only way a '77 could have Fisher tops.
To be on the safe side, I'd double-check the VIN tag and compare it to the title as well as the two partial VIN stampings behind the heat/AC case on the firewall to be sure it is a '77 and not a mix-match tag and body.
Assuming it's simply a roof swap from a later model, I'd check the work to be sure it was done correctly if you're considering buying
