Thank you, I wish my situation hadn't been such that it has sat for a little over two years. Now my torque converter pump seal is leaking. I have to find a trans shop that I trust to take care of that for me. But the one good thing in true Trans Am fasion a fresh battery and a couple stabs of the throttle and it fired right up.

I ordered the car with the rear seat console.  I bought it new in June of 1977.  That's 98% original paint including the pinstripping that was added in 1978.  The only thing repainted is the nose, the flares and the shaker.  The rest is all original.  Car has 46,500 miles on it.  Interior is original too except for the rear package shelf.

Jeff, you have to see it in person to truly appreciate it.  Nick had it at the Nationals last year and it really looks better in person than it does in the pics.

I love that color Tbird!

I like the yellow too. My first T/A was almost a yellow 76 400 4 speed but the deal fell through and I ended up with a Red 75.

Terminator's 73 looks a lot better than my 71 Formula.

Yankee, I never saw you car before.  I am a huge fan of Formula's!  What a nice ride you got.  Thanks for putting them out there.  I think I have a new screen saver with your ride.  Pretty car.

Hammer

Why thank you Hammer!  Us Formula'rs are a small but devoted group, we know the T/As get all the glory and attention, but as long as I'm around there'll be someone around to proudly represent the red-headed stepchildren of the T/A!

Hey, some of us Trans Am guys also have Formulas.  :)

Here's a odd thing. When we towed the T/A to Indy and back we didn't get a lot of reaction to the car. When I loaded up the beater Formula in Kansas and headed for Florida, I couldn't get back on the road for at least 20 minutes at every rest stop, people loved the car. The car even had a Fear This sticker in the back window.

I have a friend with a 70 Formula clone and he routinely gets offers on the car. Everyone likes the twin hood scoops.
