I have always ran 3 or 4 rows IMO they cool a lot better. Just my .02

A stock replacement radiator will do the job just fine. Usually there isn't much price difference between a 3 row and 4 row radiator so I'd get the 4 row. 4 is a must if you plan on running A/C.

If you don't care about appearing original or not you could go with an aftermarket aluminum one. They are pretty reasonable these days in terms of $$$ plus they dissipate heat better.

What's she wearing now? Come on!

Best is to get a brass/copper radiator, which is what was original. All aluminum is okay too. Don't get anything with plastic.

Also, 3 row brass/copper is fine with a/c. That's what the original radiator in my 79 with a/c has. I like the 3 row better since the flews are sturdier than 4 row, since the flews in a 4 row are made of thinner wall material to fit them all in there. I recently junked a new 4 row that rotted out only after a couple years use due to weak flews.

A stock copper with metal tanks runs about 320.00 I think that's the last quote I got from 800-radiator
Champion cooling offers a 3 row for somewhere in the range of 260.00 I think you would have to call them and ask. I have a 4 row from Champion and my car doesn't get over 120 going down the freeway and NEVER gets over 180 sitting in traffic. Don't get one with plastic tanks which is what most parts store get these days.

Yeah, when using aluminum a 3 row is plenty.

I got my radiator from Advance. Same copper/brass one that Summit offers and lifetime warranty. I got the 4 row and it dropped right in, no modifications. Under $200.00, I'm thinking $149.99.

Oops, my bad. They are now $251.00 @ Advance. That is a Ready Rad for HD cooling package w/ A/C.

You can get a Spectra 3-row rad with stock apperance from Ebay for $210, shipping included in lower 48's. I am almost certain that'll be my choice, as soon as I have the funds for it...

Another vote for the Champion radiator. I run a 3 row with my Y88.
