Title: Rare find, trans am, camaro Interpart Louvre
Post by: 4SPEED on December 22, 2010, 06:14:10 PM
this, I feel is a rare find for being over 20+ years old.  never installed or out of the box till now.

was thinking of selling this one, I have 2 . but dont really know what this compleat kit would go for.  I would think this one would sell to the guy that is going to keep it in the box and not use it.  it sold for 109.00 new (price is still on the box)
new louvres cost 300 to 400 for ABS plastic
anyway here is the pics of what it looks like new out of the box.

Hey doug can you send me more pics of the packaging? I gotta send one of these to Kentuckyyeti but don't want it to get ruined along the way.

just wrap it in bubble wrap,  lots of tape, and a good box.  insure it for 999.99 that way its hand carried. ( no belt conveyors for it to fall off of)
and if you get a claim everybody makes money.

Super old thread. Anyone selling these NOS items ever scan the paperwork? It'd be nice to see how they work up close. Do the rods that hold the centre up for cleaning do anything when not in use, just sit loosely under sides?

I bought an Interpart one for my '80 Monza Spyder when it was a new car and the rod just tucked in the side. Gave the car to my first ex wife as a fabulous parting gift/ consolation prize along with a lot of alimony checks in '85, pretty sure I've still got the keys to the louvers ahahaha.
