Title: Engine wiring
Post by: Virginia T/A on April 27, 2009, 07:54:49 AM
Hey I am confussed. When I got my car someone had done a hack job on the wiring harness to the engine. I broke out my service manual on CD and started tracing out wires. I have everything figured out EXCEPT the red / black from the fuse block (F) and the red from the block (C). There were no fusible link in these wires so I picked some up and soldered them in. My question is do all of these wires all tie into a common point then go to the lug post on the alternator with the exception of the alternator sensing wire ? If that's the case then the red / black, the red ( with the fusible links ), the battery lead to the alternator plus the sensing wire to the alternator will all be connected at a common point.
