Title: engine decoding

hello all
i just bought a 1980 ta the engine is a 400 code wy not positive on the exact year yet, the heads are marked 50 on one side and 6x on the other side. also it has an edelbrock performer intake and 650 edelbrock carb and headers what are these heads,comp. ratio and engine apx hp.
