1970 Firebird Esprit Ongoing project

Not new to the forum but new to owning a piece of American muscle history. Heres a pic of the car right when I bought it.

Its a 1970 Firebird Esprit. This is a Canadian car and had one owner up until last year. The previous owner put the formula hood on it and the spoiler and managed to debadge some random s#^* on it. Still have to buy the firebird emblems and 350 emblems for the fenders yet. Also going to put a new set of wheels on.



Set of 14x6 Rally II's. Have to sandblast all of them then paint them all nice and mount them. Going to take the white walls and turn them around and buy a good set of rear tires. Thats the immediate plans. Got lots of long term goals.

Nice car! I started with a 70 Esprit. Check the date codes on the tires before you spend money on mounting/balancing because they may be old and unsafe even though they still have good tread. Did the PO give you the missing stainless trim for the rear of the hood?

I picked up a red/black 71 just after Christmas....nice to see another!
