Title: Rewiring buzzer on a new seat belt
Post by: Crisis on October 10, 2017, 05:09:10 PM
Hello,

I don't know if it's the right place to post this new topic... hope it's good here.
So, i'm in a restauration project of a 79 T/A and I'm about to replace the old seat belts by a new set.
The new set haven't any wiring for the buzzer/alarm/light when belt isn't buckled.
How to wiring the new set (the driver belt) to let the buzzer/light working ? Is it possible?

I've bought this set : https://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/rtb-rb-7481cmb/overview/ (https://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/rtb-rb-7481cmb/overview/)

Thank you everybody =)

I'd say very likely not possible with new set as originals had different receivers for each side, one that had plastic insulated sections that would only ground when buckled. It only saves 2 sec anyway, and most simply don't hook up.
