These diagrams can't be that much different from a 77's diagram can they?

Yes, different wiring as the '80 has added electronic components

Hey Jeff, Did't it change every single year from 78-81?  I have a 79 Dash I am putting in a 80 T/A and will probably have to splice or something whatever is missing from 79-80.  Thats why this diagram will really help when the time comes!

I'd expect some minor changes year to year but without comparing schematics side-by-side year-to-year for individual harnesses, it'd be hard to say 100%...but yeah, pre-'80 models should be overall pretty similar

As Jeff said, the '77 will be different.  I happen to have both the '77 and '80 diagrams and there are some similarities but there is still a lot that is different.
