No.  Haven't heard of him.  Post the auction - I couldn't find it.

" Buy junk or buy right."  Wow, cocky, that's irritating. Or you can restore it yourself, and actually feel good about it that you did it yourself.

Here ya go

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dm37.l1313%26satitle%3D180352402880%26category0%3D%26fvi%3D1&item=180352402880&viewitem=

He loses me almost immediately when he says "Choice of new rebuild kit for 350 or 403 Pontiac motor."

Right there makes me not trust his abilities. That and a 8 - 10 week turnaround time claim.

Well, he's not totally inane. I asked him if he knew the 403 wasn't a Pontiac. And he did. So that at least was just poorly worded. He's off on some of his facts that he threw at me, but maybe he at least knows enough to get a rebuild right.

I still wouldn't trust such a quick turnaround time. But maybe he has some potential.

Heck why not get a RA V motor. see if he can hook that up.  If he even knows about the RA V heads.  i belive those are the super rare ones unless im confusing them with the RA IV's.

I love the way EVERYTHING on the motor is painted, Including the vaccum hose for the brake booster.

yeah you can get a bondo'd up wavey driver with new seat covers and fresh engine paint and the price goes up from that point on. i forgot i want the 6 speed automatic transmission with 5.22 gears as well but this must fit in that 10k budget. i should give them a call and see what they say.
