79 Deluxe Seat Backs and New Padded Dash
« on: August 13, 2006, 03:42:09 PM »
Has anyone ever tried these seat backs from performance years? If so how is the grain compared to originals? They told me they were the right ones for a 79 TA with deluxe seats even though it is not clear in the description.

Also does anybody know anything about a whole padded dash I saw in the Classic Industries catalog. It was part #10018005 on page 112 and was cheaper then having Just Dashes repair the one I have. Any responses would be greatly apreciated.

I have gotten the seat backs in and they are pretty good.... but nothing is perfect.  As far as the dash Classic sells.... well, they have had that in their catalog for 5 years now and they still do not make it.

Thanks for the reply. What a shame about the dash. I guess there's no word about any kind of release date if it's been 5 years. Have you ever used "Dashboard Restoration". I believe they are in Washington.

Yes, I use them all the time.  I don't use Just Dashes anymore.
