I will start with my 1979 trans am pontiac 301 all original.
Uh, Dave....."ALL ORIGINAL" means the car should have some of it's "original" decals on it buddy.  Trans Ams all came with, at least, the Trans Am Decals on the rear and side of the car.  This car you show here has obviously been repainted and couldn't be identified as "original".  What happened to the TATA you had and planned to make yours?  Did you sell it?

Here's my car to continue with the thread.

after 30+ yrs and just a paint job, thats pretty close to original

Thanks! Recieved "Cornerworkers Choice" award that weekend. Apparently the track workers agreed with you! LOL Unfortunately since I go to the tracks by myself usually I don't have anyone take video. I run a Go Pro on a rollbar mount inside the car once in a while but have yet to figure out how to edit and post clips on you tube.

Here's a link to a vid someone posted of a walkthrough in the tech inspection area at a Land Speed Race held at an unused airport down here in So FL. 1 mile to speed up and 1 to slow down.  I was seriously outclassed by cubic dollars as you'll see (after all this is the land of exotics). I had the only car there running a carb as far as I know. You hear my car in the beginning, middle, and end. All the other cars were fairly quiet at idle.
