Good book?
« on: May 09, 2011, 08:36:00 PM »
Anyone have any recommendations on a book I could buy on T/As?  I have a few wiring issues on would like some sort of book to help me out.  I have no horn, wipers, turn signals and only my speedo and gas gauge work.  Looking for a book with wiring diagrams.  Any help would be greatly appreciated

The factory service manual would be your best choice by a mile:

Yup, That is the one I have, and love it.

I also use a wire diagram from here http://www.classiccarwiring.com/  My eyes are not as good as they were years ago so the bold colors are easy for me to see. But do the manual first. Way more info in it.

Pick up all the books, I refer to them all the time, they are getting harder to find. I just found a pontiac binder for the big parts books.

For wiring, your best bet is the original service manual.  They come up on ebay all the time.
