 1981turbotransam,

Quote
what is the best way to have my turbo rebuilt

By a competent shop, which is basically what these fine folks have
indicated. If you are mechanically able, it is "possible" to do it yourself
provided only a basic rebuild is all you need.

There are a number of competent shops out there, but you'd have
to send it to them. In your last thread, I think I read that you had a concern
with sending it out... Limiting your choices to your home town only might
not be the best way to have your turbo rebuilt if it doesn't have a turbo
shop.

So, it that's true, that you won't ship it... then there's no real answer
to the question - does that make sense?

 1981turbotransam,

I have added my assistance to several other very sharp
Trans Am experts. They and I have answered what you
are asking to the extent possible.

But, we don't seem to be communicating...

Might I suggest that you slow down, and re-read the
flow of what's been already been sent your way.

Also, something that I do is to compose my thoughts
in notepad, wordpad or something before I post, so
I can reorganize my thoughts to more fully say what
I mean.

We're all anxious to see you get your car on the road,
and want to hear of your progress as the project continues.
