From looking at bluemules pics, his engine is a w72 Pontiac 400.
It doesn't have the long oil filler tube and has the chrome valve covers.

Ya I see that now!   I just thought I remember him saying he had a 403 somewhere in his previous threads.   This would be a pretty good pickup, unless he is going to rebuild anyway, then he can just use the one he has...  He didn''t have pics up before if you check the dates when I wrote that.

Sorry for the delay in getting pics up.... I was told my T/a had a 403. Never really liked the 403 but I could have lived with it. Iv always heard good things about the 400.

Any way. When I posted above asking how much for the engine and trans I had a little extra cash to work with but since then my dad has been having some issues with his health.. Anyway Im spending all my money driving back in forth to the hp (2 hour drive).

Id love to have the engine but shipping in its self would kill me.
