Regarding a factory OEM '79 Hurst 4-speed shifter, does anyone know what the correct model number, part number or stamping number is for the housing? I have heard the number 3138 mentioned. I have no idea if that is correct, but if so presume it is just a portion of a longer number. I do know the correct handle for '79 has the "Hurst" name right in the curve of the handle with the number 0800 near where the shifter handle holes are located. Thank you.
