have heard only 50 will be built but dont hold me to it and the price is closer to 200k. there was one on ebay not long ago for 230k if i remember right.

I saw that one on ebay for 230k. it was signed by burt.
pretty ridiculous amount of money.. shoot. Their base price is a little ridiculous.
I still think you could take a junker and have it fixed up gloriously for their base. or less.
Aaannd it could look how you specify.
I personally don't like some of the things they did to the inside.. but well. At least they are trying.

$5 to tell everyone their building the car(seeing how just about every magazine covered it)
$10 it cost to list it on ebay
$60,000 to get burt off his big rich butt to sign the car and use his name
$119,985 that they feel they deserve for using their name and blessing the world with themselfs.

You know... I have a copy of one of the early Smokey and the Bandit scripts and in it there's no mention at all of T-tops on the Trans Am (though it most definitely does have the Bandit driving a T/A).
