I forgot "Logan's Run " came out in 76 when I was in grade 10 . Pretty cool concept in its time
Logan is my dog's name.  I'll have to check this one out.

One Crazy Summer, Better Off Dead, Caddyshack.

All time favorite is Spaceballs - came out my Freshman year in college. Funny story...guys on my floor didn't want to see it but the girls did so we went as a group. About 15 minutes into the movie, the pious christian girls were OMG'ing the movie wondering why they thought it would be good. They were hating the movie. All us guys were absolutely loving the movie. Talk about a 180 on a movie!!!
College times...........full of surprises.  I wonder how I ever finished.

I thought I was the only person who had Logan's Run as a favorite.  I would add Star Wars.  I was a nerd though, wishing I had a Trans Am so that I wouldn't have to be a nerd anymore.

Anyone seen the movie "Vanishing Point"? Great car movie. I came into it expecting an average chase movie, like SatB, but its actually a lot more.  There's a lot of symbolism and story telling going on. Great soundtrack and some great driving in that badass challenger

Not the greatest movie and certainly not my era but Heather Locklear is in it so had to watch. It was my daughter CD called something like The Greatest Man. Anyways, there is a silver hardtop with blue bird. They said 80 model. But the character driving it was definitely a stereotype of the type person who drives a TA

In high school wow...... Fast Times was up there only because that was the only late model 2nd gen Z28 I'd like to have.  Others I liked and still love is History of the World Part 1, Blazing Sadles, and Naked Gun to name a few

Since you brought out swords, I have to say that the original (its sad that I have to say that) Conan the Barbarian was tops for me. Probably had the best classical movie sound track of all time as well.
