79 trans am blower motor resistor switch.

I was wondering where I can locate the risitor for the blower motor. Mine only works on one speed so I want to replace that before I replace the actual switch to the blower fan speed. How hard is it to get to and change out? Thanks ahead of time.

See the red plate under the wiring plug, that's the resistor. Easy to check, not often the problem unless burnt out.

My resistor burnt out as soon as i had the key on. low fan was working normally then all a sudden nothing. the red base was all black like it heated up I don't know what would of caused it other than the part failing.
