Well I wish it didn't have to come to this, but job issues are forcing me to sell my project TA before it ever got off the ground. Car is a really good start and is very driveable as it is, just needs some odds and ends to be really nice. Well worth it. Here's the ad:
1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. Car needs some work but is overall in good shape. 120K original miles. Car is very fast and strong. Built Chevy 350. Heads, cam, intake, etc… 750 Demon carburetor. Summit Racing ignition. Electric fan. Around 400 horsepower or so. It’ll throw you back in the seat. B&M ratchet shifter. Hughes racing TH350 turbo transmission. 10 bolt posi rearend with 3.73 gears. GTA rims with good rubber. Lowered front suspension. Cowl fiberglass hood. Welded subframe connectors. Was just repainted a few months ago. Bird is custom painted and not a decal. Solid frame, trunk pan, and floor pan. Front end was just rebuilt. THE BAD… car has a small oil leak. Nothing major but does mark its territory. Needs some brake work. Needs the emergency brake cable fixed. Could use a new power steering pump and belt. The pump drips a little. The paint has some flaws. A few very minor runs here and there and has a couple of scratches. From five feet away it looks great. Interior could be freshened. Car is 99% rust free. No rot. Very strong and solid. It does need some work to be show quality. It runs, drives, stops, and looks good. Currently inspected. Title is in my hand. I have a huge pile of spare parts that go with it.
Will deliver locally for free or not so locally for a fee. Selling it for what I have into it. If you have any questions message me here or send me an email at cdrmotorsports@yahoo.com.
