WANTED: 1977 - 1981 Trans Am
« on: December 12, 2009, 10:47:26 PM »
If anyone here has a '77 - '81 Trans Am for sale in Kentucky, send a PM to me here or send an e-mail at r041808@windstream.net

I would like the car to be in decent enough shape to be driven daily.

I'm located in Berea, KY.

I also have a Buick T-Type/Grand National clone I'm selling for $3,500 or best offer if anyone is interested. For more pics and information, check out my Craigslist listing here: http://lexington.craigslist.org/cto/1507532030.html

Thanks!

good luck on your search. I'd check with kentuckyyetti, as he seem's to know where to score a nice t/a down there all the time.

nice regal btw I have had two and loved them. I put a 383 together for one and man was that a fun car. I loaned it to my brother and learned a lesson. High volume oil pumps and a small leak in the valve cover = big mess. And when your brother is reminded to check the oil level as the car was not daily driven as he is barrowing it, chances are you will get it back with a rod knock from being ran dry and have him say "I didnt kill it, you did because you beat the crap out of it on the way home" yeah after the damage was already done!! sorry chad, still holding that grudge 5 years later lmfao. maybe he'll pay for my 455 rebuild?

That's sort of funny because my Regal used to have a 383 stroker in it before I traded my Monte Carlo SS to it. When I first got my Regal, the previous owner had swapped a real nice and clean '71 Olds Rocket 350 in it for the trade. That Olds 350 wound up almost throwing a rod simply just by driving it on the interstate for grand total of two miles.

I've found a '77 T/A four-speed car. I have to sell the Buick ASAP, so I'm dropping the price to $3,000 even, but that's a firm price now. If you or anyone you know is interested send an e-mail to r041808@windstream.net or call/text 1-859-302-2178. It has to go by the end of the week!

I still have to sell my Buick to buy a T/A. If someone can buy it ASAP, it's theirs for $2,500.

I now have cash in hand to buy a '77 - '81 T/A. Let me know if you have one for sale. E-mail r041808@windstream.net with your asking price, location and phone number, and good resolution photos of the interior, exterior, the frame, and engine of the car. It has to be in daily driver condition.

I suppose I will mention that I have a $3,000 dollar budget to maintain here ...

Keep the cars coming.

I'm looking for something along the lines of this car, just to give you an example: http://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/cto/1517787013.html

(I would buy it, but it's already gone.)

Bump. I'm not picky about if it's a 400 or 403, 4-speed or automatic, black or white, etc. just as long as it's nice for the price and under budget.

There has to be something decent for sale in KY, OH, or TN ...

If someone has a car in say, GA, I'll cover your gas to meet me in Knoxville.

This is starting to look a little bit hopeless.
