Hello,

Wanted to introduce myself as I am the proud owner of a 1978 6.6 Liter Trans Am as of 09/07/12.  Purchased the car from Sam in Gresham, OR this past Friday and now have a bit of a project on my hands.  Looking at a full interior restoration, and hoping to take it one step at a time but a big part of me wants it done now.  Sam did a great job of getting things funcitional, it drives and looks great from a distance.  Have had a couple of iPhone pics from the highway, and a rice burner wanting to race already.  I am excited but also feeling a bit overwhelmed right now in looking at all that needs to be done inside.  Any suggestions or recommendations is appriciated!

Take it one step at a time. Dont rush. Have fun. It will get done. Congrats and welcome to the site!

welcome to the site!  Look at the car as many small projects all in one.  Just as Mongo stated- one step at a time.  I started at the rear of the car and worked my way forward.  One project lead into another and then into another.  At one point in my resto, I had 5 so called projects going on at once.  Just have fun with it.
Post a picture or two of the car when you can.
