Even fewer will ever see them, since GM and their new partner the US government sold off a lot of those cars at auction.  What a sad legacy for GM.

That's what I can't understand.  Did the sales of those cars save GM?  No.  they didn't make a drop in their proverbial bucket of debt.  I guess it just looked good, selling those cars.
