1977 V8 TA Sound Deadening project
« on: March 18, 2012, 07:56:39 PM »
So I started to tear the interior apart originally to lay in some of Second Skin's premium sound deadening products, shortly after I removed the panels and pulled the carpet... I found the infamous rust. I have sanded, primed, and sprayed rubberized undercoating. Hopefully tomorrow I can start Sound deadening...

Looking good, word of advice, put as much sound deadener and heat insulation as possible.  It doesn't have to be the pricey stuff, just any kind really.  I covered my floor with it and I can tell a world of diffence.  Keep up the great work!

I plan too! I have plenty of Second Skin's products, a whole roll of heat insulation, four sheets of sound proofing barrier and 5 gallons of liquid undercoating/sound deadener!!!!!!!!!!!!!
