1977 15x7 snow flake wheels tires size

i want to buy a set of tires to my 1977 trans am snowflake wheels 15x7.
i want to go more than the stock 225-70-15
but not much fatter.
i want somthing little fatter than the stock but the same stock tire high.
how about 235-60-15 ??
any advise please or if you have link for pics with bigger tires to see.

255/60/15 are as close to stock height as you can get & are wider.  they look great & if your suspension isnt sagging, they shouldn't rub.  myself & others run a bigger 275/60/15 on the rear to give the car a better looking stance.

235-60-15 is 1.3" shorter than the stock 225-70-15. So it's too small for my taste.

I like the 245-60-15 on a 7" wheel. It's .8" shorter than stock, so not as short as the 235-60.

255's are only .3" shorter than stock, but are pretty wide for a 7" wheel, so I don't like them as much on a 7" wheel. They're better for an 8" wheel to me.

I have 245-60-15s  on the back of mine with the stock 15x 7 snowflakes.
