Hello all. I joined the site a few days ago. I have been doing some self-edumacating through the forum. I picked up this car from the original owner's son and am very happy with it. First, in my world, it's hardly got any rust. Just some quarter patches, which I have lined up, three little patches in the floor and some touch ups on the fenders. It's actually pretty good for sitting in the field since 2001. The engine is toast. It starts but knocks badly. He said the cam went out, I'm thinking rod. And lastly, everything but the windshield wipers works. I'm definitely not used to that! The original 301 will likely step aside for a 350 or 400. Just want to make it drive, doesn't have to be a race car to enjoy. Anyway, I can't seem to post pics, even though I spent 20 minutes downsizing them to less than 192kb, so I'll try another post.....
