Rear Tire Clearance

If I have Good Year P295/50R15 rear tires on a stock suspention would I need air shocks or could I use Eldlebrock EDL-34996
monotube gas shocks. Will the tires rub on the fender? I really hate air shocks.

I put 295/60's on a car and I didn't have air shocks. The rears should be fine

I have 275/45/17's om my 78 TA with no air shocks and dont seem to have any problems at all.
