« on: February 15, 2008, 01:17:47 AM »
Just curious if anyone has ordered/bought parts from them and what their opionions were on quality/originality for the buck?

I'm asking as I have never purchased from them but am considering an order...thanks.

Please no rants...just opinions ;)

I've "heard" good things about them but have not yet had any personal experience.

Yes I buy from the Parts place all the time as well.  The thing you have to remember is most of these places get their parts from the same places.  So, what you buy from the Parts Place is the same thing you would buy from Ames, and from Performance Years, and from Paddock, ...... on so on, and so on..

not sure if these guys are the same as the people who make the wheel spoilers for 70-78. but i posted earlier about the quality of their spoilers. i purchased some rear wheel flares from brett & they were made by "the parts place".....worst product i have ever seen. didnt fit at all, surface was like a washboard, just plain terrible quality. i would have rather bought danko direct spoilers.

so my opinion is they make terrible spoilers, not sure about any other items tho.

edit: just wanted to add that brett returned the spoilers no questions asked & refunded my money. this wasn't meant to bash brett in any way, he's been nothing but helpfull in every transaction i have done with him. real stand up guy.

but the parts place spoilers were pretty crappy. maybe i got a bad batch, who knows.
