Black 78 Trans Am
« on: October 14, 2016, 03:44:03 PM »
Hi Folks,

First post! I'm in the UK and currently trying to restore an original black 78 Trans AM! I've always wanted to own one, not a great deal of 'car rebuilding knowledge' so will no doubt need a helping hand! I'm making good progress in getting this beauty back on the road! I'll start by adding a few pictures of how she looked when I collected her!!

Welcome!
John Paige

Dear Not A TA,
This is Tin Indian's wife. Would you please stop posting pictures of your car? Especially ones with er, ummm, sidepipes. I'm dizzy already and have to get up early in the morning.  :-X

Next batch of photos! The process of taking her back to bare metal. One of the front wings (fender!) was is a poor state and luckily found a replacement (as 'Andy' hadn't collected!) I had the side vent cut out of the original fender and fitted into the replacement.

More to follow....
