Identifying some wires
« on: August 18, 2016, 06:22:23 PM »
I recently purchased a 1978 Trans Am. I am.cleaning the car up and changing burnt out bulbs and noticed some wiring connectors that aren't connected. The first pic is under the driver's side of the dashboard, and the second is behind the radio area

I have the same problem. Somebody told me that those are for different accessories that aren't equipped on your car. Not sure if that's true though.

A site I have found that has a very thorough write up on vehicle wiring is the following: http://www.firebirdtransamparts.com/techinfo/harness/harness.htm

The more knowledge the better.

Hope this helps.
