1980 part values?
« on: July 15, 2012, 01:09:06 PM »
i got some stuff that came with my car when i bought it. i would say 99% of it is from a 1980. so i was just curious what some of the stuff is worth.

Looks like some of it you have is from other years too.  I know what it's all worth.....its worth the exact amount someone is willing to buy it for.  Normally this price is less than what a seller is wanting. :)  Seriously though if you are wanting to sell some of it, I'd be intersted in the front seat belt buckles and maybe a few of the center caps if they are in great shape.

i know. i'm not looking to make a killing. would rather see the parts go to a good car than sit in a box. no more than shipping and a couple bucks. yeah, the one tail light, not sure what year and the guage cluster/speedo is a 79 i think because it goes to 100mph. if you are interested in the seat belts and center caps i'll take more pics. the belts look like the previous owner tried repainting. i'll put up some better pics. thanks for the info. i appreciate it!

OK.  Sounds good.  I'm actually just after the covers.  As long as the plastic is in decent shape, I can deal with the paint.

I'd be interested in a pair of tail lights if they don't have any cracks in them.

i'll take some better pics. i think only one of the nine tail lights has a crack, even then its its a hair line crack about  a 1/4" long. so i'll get some better pics up tomorrow. would ya need a fuel door and hinge as well?

Fuel door yes my hinge is fine. I did a restoration on my set but they have a few minor cracks in them. I repainted inside and out and polished the lenses but I'm still not happy with the minor cracks showing. Just as long as the lenses don't have cracks my plastic housings are fine.
Thanks
