starter wire on 79TA with 403 has shorted to ground. not battery lead but the two wires connected to battery lead

where do i start looking for the griound on my starter? not the battery but the other connector having two leads crimped together

where can I find a wiring diagram for the 1979 TA?  I have Haynes shop manual but it has no diagram for the 79.

I am new to the site so not sure how this works.  There is a battery cable and another connector with two leads that connects at the starter.  not the solenoid lead.  The connector with two wires is shorted to ground somewhere.  I have the Haynes manual 1970-1979 but it has no schematic for the 79.  Where do I start in trying to locate the short?  Where can I find a wiring diagram?

There is no 79 electrical diagram, use the 78.
