Jeri:

The pre-reg #s are up from last year, so I think 150 cars is a fair estimate.

OK up-date
Finally loaded the Trans Am in the trailer and strapped her down.
Everything went sweet, The winch worked well, no clearance issues
couldn't ask for anything more, then we took it out on the local roads
and it performed real nice, should be good on the open road.
So, next stop the lawn show.
See you guys in Saratoga.
Enjoy

Great looking trailer for a great looking T/A. :) Your SE is definitely riding in style. 8)

With all the great looking trailers hauling Birds to the show, they should have their own judged class in the show. :)

Tony, you should really cross your strapps in the back for safety.  It prevents rear wheel hop over bumps.  Fronts are OK the way they are.  Tom.

THE 6th Annual All Firebird Lawn Show IS A GO FOR Saturday JULY 5
« Reply #23 on: July 03, 2008, 07:24:19 PM »
THE 6th Annual All Firebird Lawn Show IS A GO FOR Saturday JULY 5.  PLEASE READ Time Table and Last Minute Details BELOW!

AccuWeather.com forecast for Saratoga Springs zip 12866 and the Friday night cruise is excellent.  This Cruise will be the best All Firebird Cruise yet with Saratoga Springs Police Department escort and good weather.

AccuWeather.com forecast for Saturday calls for times of clouds and Sun.  Local weather people at WTEN.com
say rain will stay 30 miles south of Saratoga for Saturday.

Many of you are driving a long distance and have room reservations with cancellation penalties.

Therefore, the 6th Annual All Firebird Lawn Show will be held on Saturday July 5, 2008 from 9AM - 4PM at Saratoga Auto Museum with 50-50 raffle, car corral, food, beverages, vendors, prizes, etc.  Please say a little prayer to the Sun gods!   In the event of dark clouds on Saturday afternoon, we will speed up awards presentations as much as possible to get everyone on their way as quickly as possible.

This year we have even more trophies, more prizes, more food, and more Firebirds.  As a reminder, the purpose and focus of our show is on fundraising for Special Olympics, annual reunion of the Firebird family, and exchange of knowledge.  Although our show has many of the trappings of a national event, we strive to maintain a casual atmosphere and minimize the battle for trophies and awards.  We hope you will mingle with Firebird enthusiasts & Special Olympics athletes and coaches.  We encourage you to be generous with your donations upon entry and generous with your food & t-shirt purchases.  We trust you will have a fun Firebird time and enjoy more than 150 wonderful Firebirds that are coming from twelve US states and 2 provinces in Canada.  We thank you for your attendance & generosity.  All money raised is collected by Special Olympics Volunteers and goes directly to Special Olympics programs.

Vendors:  Jim Valentino from http://www.photowheels.com/ will be back offering beautiful Car Portraits.  The Jewelry Lady from Audrey's Art Limited audreysart@yahoo.com will be back to offer one of a kind pieces of jewelry.  Plus we got hot dogs by Mike the Hot Dog Chef, beverages by the Beverage Queens, 50-50 raffle by FNONA member Keith Tanny and his Boys, raffle prizes from NFTAC, Ames Performance, RockAuto.com, YEAR ONE, etc.  Did I mention we have the best dang goodie bag you will get at any show anywhere ever??

Show Time Table and Last Minute Details:

Thanks Jeri.

I know you live like what...50,000 miles away, so I know it would be a long drive, but the show would be better if you and your Prettybird were there. :)
