Topic: Seats for a 76? Can you recover any style?

So im trying to find a set of deluxe seats for my 76. I have a few here locally that have some seats but they are not the horsecollar deluxe style seats. Can you take a standard seat or another year and put the horsecollar replacement vinyls on them or do you need to buy new foam cores etc?
