I have a couple more pics that I shared with 4speed.  If you blow them up you can see the ttop on the passenger side of the 77se.  Ive seen these cars in person.  4Speed is right when he says the SE is rough.  The back wheelwells are sitting on the tires.  I didn't look close enough when I was there 3 months ago to see why.  The guy that has them is hard to get hold of.  I am trying to set up the deal for Saturday or Sunday.  I call him in the afternoon, he emails me back at 4am.  Must be a night owl.

To make a long story short, I was given a 3 hour window to get these cars today when the guy finally called me back.  It's a long story, but any way.  I showed up with 2 flatbeds.  Picked up both cars.  I'm lovin on the 4speed.  It's in better shape than I remembered it was.  (sorry 4speed).  The SE is beyond my capability.  The rocker on the driver's side is missing.  That caused the roof to twist a little when it was put on the truck.  The floor is missing, the rear brakes are locked.  The rear tires sit about an inch below the whell wells.  It does have the numbers matching W72 400 in it though.  I'm open to offers, hate to have to do it in.  It's still a 77 SE, it would be a shame.  I'll post pics tomorrow.  When I was talking to the son he told me that those cars had been sitting in the same spot for as long as he could remember.  He said he grew up with those 2 cars.  When I talked to the guy that was helping him with the estate, he told me both cars were sitting in the same spot the day he met the man that passed away.  He asked me that the man's name be placed somewhere hidden in the car.
