Topic: 1980 Pace Car for sale Findlay Oh. ( SOLD )

I have a 1980 Indy Pace car that I am looking to sell as I am purchasing another vehicle & space and money are forcing me to give up one of my toys. I have had this car for roughly 10 years and have done much to it over the years to bring it back to as near original as possible. It is all original in appearance with exception of a B&M shifter and rear window louvers. The car was painted by a GM Dealership around 7 years back still retains a bright shine. Runs nice no knocks or smoke. Power steering does leak somewhat. Brand new stainless steel brake lines front to back & new master cyl & booster installed last August new valve cover gaskets installed at the same time.. During the restro I did not feel the need to have the ac repaired so it is complete but non functioning at this time. I did not have the turbo rebuilt either so it will need your attetion if you so desire. I find the car drives and runs out just fine as is. I just purchased the missing linkage parts for the cruise control so it is complete but untested since the car is in winter storage right now. Interior is in very nice clean condition & engine bay is nicely detailed.
This car won 1st in the lightly modified class at the Trans Am Nationals in 2009 & 2011. Milage is right around 95,000 original miles. The drivers side visor has been hand signed by Johnny Rutherford the winner of the 80 Indy. The passinger visor has been hand signed by Herb Adams, John Schinella & Bill Davis. you meant 24,500 right.  a multiple 1st place winner at the nats for under 15K, sounds crazy.  to me it seems under priced for a ta in that condition.

Yeah no kidding. This car on a restoration shop's website would be at least 30k

Thanks for all the positive comments on the car, I've had alot of fun with it, especially at the Trans Am Nationals where folks really know what it is.

Right now I need the room more than I need to sell the car.

Lets just say if I have to keep it that's not all bad, just too many cars right now.

And no, I don't have the $$ for a bigger building so that is not an option.

I love the car, but I hate having to worry that something might happen to it, as a result it gets driven very little anymore.

That's understandable. I always say that they should be driven, cause that's what they're for, but in this case I can see why you might spare it from the road. It really is one of the nicest quality restored cars I've seen.
