New guy w/ Lots of work ahead

Been lurking for a while. I have wanted a 78 TA since I was a kid. Well found one in a barn. It is in ruff shape. No motor, tranny, or floor boards really. No rust in the spots I would be leary of though. I started taking her apart this morning and decided quick I have got to get an impact wrench. PB Blaster and muscle only goes so far. No build sheets to speak of. I found one on top of the gas tank but it is unreadable.

Hey another CA firebird just like mine! Camaro's are your freinds. I bet it had an olds 403 in it. Drop yourself a nice chevy 383. When you run into problems with parts not matching up, just tell them 78 camaro.

It had a 400 in it and a 400 will go back in it. I actually have to give the Camaro wheels back. I almost have the back half stripped. One bolt in the bumper that I am going to have to cut off and I can move to the front. I also decided that rusty body parts with sharp edges and my hands don't get along. I bought some Mechanix gloves last night. I also called the family doctor (wife made me) and I had a tetanus shot three years a go
