Wow thats one nice ride you have there . Is that the factory CB in the dash ,or would a factory one have to be a Delco. Looks like it belongs there
After market radio with built in CB and PA system. It looks close enough to factory but isn't. With the map pocket taken with the 8 track this was the best choice to have a CB. Car originally came with an AM radio with the 8 track.
Beautiful TA!  Is that snow on the shrubs in the background??  In Mississippi!  It can't be.
Yeah, snow in Mississippi on December 5th. It usually doesn't even get cold here until February. Amazingly they say it may snow again this week. Now how is that Global Warming?
Global warming is just overrated anyway :P Don't quite believe in it. And here in stupid Norway they blame EVERYTHING on the car's. Trying to get a classic car registered here is a real pain in the rear end sometimes. A friend of mine didn't get his Trans Am registered because it had 15x8 rims, the car authorities claimed it only came with 15x7 (it was a 79' with WS6) even though he had documentation for it :S
GLOBAL WARMING IS A SHAM!!! Europe and the Americas used to be connected by ice, so they tell us. Where is it? It melted. Dinosaurs once roamed the earth and the died out (except Nessie). Heck, they found bones of a whale some years ago in my town when digging, that means there used to be an ocean here but not anymore. It is nature and she is always changing. Do we need to be more conservative of our natural resources, yes, but are cars the problem, NO. Now lets go racing!!

The radio did come out of a 1978 SE Trans Am, so not original to my car. The 8 Track is not hooked up so only for looks at this point. I am looking for a wiring harness so maybe one day. The radio is a Pioneer GT 6600. I bought it off ebay for $27 and saw one somehwere online brand new. Surf the web using Pioneer GT 6600 and I am sure you can find one. I really enjoy having the built in CB. Thanks to all for the comments.

Heres the link where I found the new radio/cb. Not sure if it is still available though.

Seller said he pulled it years ago and had the unit stored so I don't think so. The reason I believe that it did come from a Trans Am is the radio face plate is not Pontiac but fits the radio cut out perfectly.
