This is my '78 Trans Am. I've had it about five years. It is a work in progress. Maybe when I get out of engineering school I'll have more time and money to spend on It.

Welcome to a great site ,and thanks for posting pics . Got any more and bigger?

Welcome, looks like a sweet car. Automatic?

What intake and carb are you running? Motor looks super clean. With that intake, was there a clearance issue? I see your shaker in the first pic but not mounted on the intake. Just curious
-
The intake and heads are a Performer RPM by Edlebrock and the carb is a Holley 770 street avenger. The photos are about 2 years when the engine was rebuilt. I mounted the shaker to the hood. Clearance was not as much an issue as much as the style of carb. the stock air clean didn't sit right with the bowls on the holley. I had a 750 Edlebrock that worked with the air cleaner but the car like the holley a LOT better.

It is a TH350 auto.

The pictures are just some I had saved on the computer. I'll post some new ones when I get a change.

Nice looking ride. Just a warning to you though, I would put a different air cleaner on there unless you want to risk burning up your ride. Those air cleaners are known to catch fire.

I just noticed it looks like Aluminum heads too huh?

Looks good :) nice Trans Am :D

My friend had that same breather on his mustang and it caught on fire. I have a 10 inch edlebrock on there now. Can't go any larger than that. At one time I had a 11 inch extreme by K&N but it hit the inside of the shaker and broke the bolt off coming out of the carb.
