I'm curious about what the number of 1976 Firebirds came w/the vinyl half top ,Ithink that is what it is called? Does anyone have that number ? Thanks.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

Theres a few reasons why i dont like them.......... one is obvious.......



They tend to get used on cars with Roof damage........ etc etc

Oh for what its worth, i had a 76 with a " half vinyl " roof, yes the vinyl went !!!

They did look nice when new though.  I never had one.  They were suppose to simulate a convertible.  But I have no idea what the half vinyl roof was suppose to simulate.

You know, I do remember my 77 Olds Cutlass Supreme had the vinyl on the back side of the roof.  That was a great car in its time.  The roof did start to rust under the vinyl but I drove the wheels off the car and sold it.
