« on: June 20, 2009, 01:44:54 AM »
Plans for this car: New tires, Wheel flares installed, black and gold paintjob(wanted it that way ever since i saw smokey and the bandit), either snowflake or torque thrust rims (20" on the front 18" on the back, Raise the rear 2", drop the front 2", Louvers

Since i have had my car: ($4700 later)(originally bought for $3000)(had it for about a year just passed my learners on my 16th bday about 3 months ago)
New radio, New wheel flares, Had to fix the trunk it was all rusted out, New shifter seal, battery clamps, fixed the firing order, distributor cap, distributor rotor, wheel alignment, new starter, new rear window, new radiator, new battery, spark plugs, carb tune up, new emblems, New headlights

Unfortunately not a numbers matching car was originally a 301 now a 350

Don't let Rick see those rims...he'll be all over those :)

Nice car!

One suggestion...you might want to go with 18" all around. 20's on these cars look almost toy like. And why the 20's on the front with the 18's in the rear?

thanks everyone. i just drove it for the first time yesterday and loved it. i wanted to give the car a more of an interesting look but i definitely think your right with the 18". i am actually looking to sell these rims so if you want to let rick know go for it. im looking to either get a cash offer or trade for a set of snowflake or torque thrust rims

Nice car, I have a chevy motor in my 78, and I must say they are much easier to work on than a pontiac.  Sorry fellas.
