~I got a scanner and OH BOY, look what I found!!~
« on: September 27, 2010, 12:10:37 PM »
Had to buy a new printer/scanner/copier because my other printers would not work with my new computer.  So, I went scanner happy and look what I found!!

Frank's  1987 ( I think ) 442  Correction!!! 1986

My red '77 Trans Am, that I miss :'(, but she needed tons of body work.  I can't even possibly image what she would have been like when pulling her apart!  I had a quarter size hole on the driver side floor board and could actually see the road go by!

 Remember this?

This plate has been on every single TA that I have owned.  I can't tell you how many times I got pulled over because in NY state your supposed to have a front NY state license plate on.

And last but NOT least, Our photo shoot at the Richard Petty Racing in Florida with the Bandit Run!

Oh look, I found  most of the other car's that I have owned including my very first car.
And yes, I owned all of these puppies!  And also, that is me behind the blue Corvette
My 1st car!

what happened to the 442? I liked these cars also... the lightning rod shifters, t-tops, bose sound system.. good combination but lacked a little umph like the legandary 442s . As for the Red T/A... I LIKEY RED T/As... anyhoo... thanks for the visit in to tha vault of past rides... good choices.

Virgil, you not going to believe this, but we traded it in for a Ford Ranger!  Yup, you read that right.  He needed a truck for construction.  The company that he worked for did not give him a company vehicle, and at that time, we had just moved to NC and had very little money.

I think Frank actually cried when I handed in the keys and title.  Though his parents have the same color combo in a '88 and they won't sell it to Frank.  They are real tight and probably will give it to his sister or her kids when they are able to drive.

Hmmm, and they want Frank to work on restoring the Crown Vic????  Well, let's see, ok, he can do the resto in exchange for the 442! LOL

I see you updated the post with other pics since I made my post... You and Frank havae the same taste in previous cars as I had.. my first car was a 81 Capri RS as well ( wicked little car for the day of 4 banger turbos ), It was a half ownership with my mother when i was in high school untill I had my first accident. I had the car fixed and gave it to my mother and bought me  73 Chevelle SS. Then came the 75 Nova SS ( shortest ownership in history... less than 3 hours). Then bought a 74 Cutlass Hurst Olds that I traded in for a Mini Conversion Van ( huge mistake) then traded it for a K5 Blazer ( Shermon Tank that rig was ), Then I bought the T/A. In tne midst of that also had a 93 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi. 90 Berretta GT, 80 Corvette (still have),.... too many to keep up with... and yes I had a IMPORT moment as well.... 84 Nissan Pulsar NX Turbo. to have some of the ones back would be a dream.. especially the Hurst Olds....that one would also have a plush life in the stables here.

Good choices.. except the ranger trade.. LOL
